Berthe Morisot was born on January 14, 1841 in Bourges, Cher, France.

Berthe Morisot went to art school at Barbizon School.
Berthe Morisot was part of the following art movement: Impressionism
Berthe Morisot’s most famous painting is The Cradle painted in 1873.
Three interesting facts about Berthe Morisot:
1. Morisot painted “en plein air” paintings. “En plein air” is French for “in the open air.”
2. Morisot’s sister, Edma, was also a painter.
3. Morisot married Edouard Manet’s brother, Eugene, and together they had one child, a girl named Julie.

Berthe Morisot died on March 2, 1895 in Paris, France.
