Thanksgiving gratitude!

Today was a busy day at The Primary Kids headquarters. Working on many new lessons, products and blog posts. Excited to start sharing some of the new things  coming up.

As this Thanksgiving weekend comes to a close, I wanted to reflect on all that I am thankful for.

This past Thanksgiving was a lovely one, spending time with my family and thinking how blessed I really am.

I am thankful that I have parents who supported my creativity throughout my life. I’m thankful that I’ve found something I love to do and a way to spend my time being creative every day. I’m thankful that I have a career that I love and that I’m surrounded by kids who inspire me everyday. I’m thankful for the times when I’m “not creative” because that makes the moments when I’m in my “flow” so much more rewarding. I’m thankful that I had time this weekend to draw and paint. I’m thankful that I live in an amazingly art rich city, that allows me to explore museums and galleries by walking outside my door. I’m thankful that The Primary Kids have come into my life and that so many of you from around the globe have supported my dream. Visiting the website, following on Facebook and Twitter, reading the blog, supporting our new store at Teachers Pay Teachers & our products at Cafepress, purchasing our book “The Primary Kids Meet Georges Seurat” and just sending encouraging messages. I’m thankful for you all!

Art is amazing…art is a connector…art is more than a painting in a museum…art is my life. My goal is to bring art into the lives of children…to “Teach Kids About Art.”

Thank You all for supporting my dream!
